The choice for best in show junior doe is one full of trade offs. My choice for best in show will be the Mini-Nubian. She shows a more correct front end than the Mini-Mancha and the Mini-AOM. She is stronger both in fore and rear pasterns than the Mini-AOM. She is straighter in fore leg in side profile than the Mini-Mancha. She excels both of the other two does in body capacity being deeper, wider and longer. In mammary she has the correct shape of udder but not the strength of rear attachment as seen in the other two younger does in this best in show class. The Mini-Nubian does have 5 lactations compared to 3 for the AOM and 2 for the Mini-Mancha and her mammary system is still held high above the hocks.
