One is
placing over two for her advantage in general
appearance, which is apparent in her topline. She is stronger in the
chine, more uphill from hips to withers, and more level from hips to
pins. She is also more prominent in her brisket, straighter in her front
legs, and stronger on her pasterns.
Two is
placing over three for her advantage in mammary
system. Her udder is more desirably shaped and balanced, and has a
smoother texture and more correctly shaped teats.
The second place doe does
grant to the extension of fore udder in the third place doe. |
Comments:
Although the breed character
about the ears is much preferred in the does standing
2nd and 3rd the doe in
first easily comes to the top in the other aspects of general
appearance. Compared to 2 she is stronger in forelegs being straighter
in side profile and wider from the front. She is stronger in topline
with a more level hip than we see in 2. She is more correctly angled to
the rear leg at the hock. She excels in mammary system with a more
correct shape to the rear udder with more width at the top. She has more
symmetry in side profile as well. She will be first udder in the class.
Two has the advantage over three
in mammary system. She has more balance between the halves of the udder
today. She is also showing in her turn a greater width of udder to the
rear. In general appearance she stands with more correctness of rear leg
both from the side and the rear. She will yield to the more level
topline of 3 for which she will be commended. |
