Ring 2 - Chris Strickland
|
The Junior Kid is strong is proper dairy shape
with more depth to the rear. She is very wide between the hocks.
The Intermediate Kid is a well balanced individual with strength
both in general appearance and dairy character. She was 1st
in a class of 8.
The Senior Kid was a single entry and is uphill to the withers.
The Junior Yearling was another single entry. She is very well
put together from front and rear. Her topline is strong as well.
The 1st place Senior
Yearling came out of a class of 8. She is long, wide to the rear and
angular throughout.
The strongest competitors for junior champion come from the
intermediate, junior yearling and senior yearling classes. For the
greater strength of bone to go with her dairy character, the
tremendous squareness to the set of both her hind legs and fore legs
the junior champion will be the junior yearling. As she was a single
entry in the class I’m now considering the intermediate kid and the
senior yearling for reserve junior champion. The intermediate kid
appears to be more angular throughout and carrier more width
proportional to her age than does the senior yearling and the
intermediate kid will be reserve junior champion. |
