One is placing over two for her advantage in mammary system. Her udder
has more area of attachment and more capacity than the second place doe.
It is higher and wider in the rear and the teats are more correctly
placed and directed. The first place doe does grant to the general
appearance of the second place doe, particularly in levelness over the
topline. |
Comments:
The first
place doe has a clear and impressive advantage in the mammary system.
The udder shows more strength of attachment in the height of the rear
udder. It is also a wider rear udder from the top to the bottom and show
a more correct teat shape and placement. This gives her the 1st place
udder in the class. In general appearance 1 is also wider in the loin
and smoother at the point of shoulder in the front end assembly. She
will yield a more desirable levelness of hip and rump especially from
hips to pins to two and for that levelness of
topline 2 is to be commended. |
