Comments:

This is my class of Jr. Bucks placing 1 over 2 in General Appearance for showing greater width in the escutcheon area also wider apart in the forelegs. He is also showing a more desirable set to the rear legs when viewed from the side. He will grant to the second place buck a more uphill appearance. In Dairy Character he excels in showing greater angularity throughout.

And for that uphill appearance 2 is standing over 3 for his General Appearance. He is also fuller in the crops when viewed from the top. He has greater length of body and shows more development in the brisket. In Dairy Character he has a longer/leaner neck and a more wedge shaped wither with the dorsal process more correctly prominent above the shoulder blades.

In his turn 3 over 4 today in General Appearance showing greater width in the area of the escutcheon. He has more breed Character about the head in showing more curvature of the nose. He excels in legs, standing more squarely between the fore and rear legs when viewed from the front.

A closer placing between 4 and 5 today, but for his Dairy Character showing great angularity throughout and a longer/leaner neck. In General Appearance He shows great width in the escutcheon area and well as being more level
in the topline especially in the area of the loin. I would like to commend the buck standing in 5th place today for his width between the hocks.

Comments:

Initially, I thought this would be my last place kid, but the more I looked at him, the more correct he became. He has the best leg set, both fore and rear of all the kids in the class. Stifle is nicely laid into the body wall. He will grant some length of body to the kid in 2.

That length of body and upstandingness carries 2 over 3.

3 over 4 for his width in the chest floor as well as more natural width between the hocks.

4 over 5 in a close placing, but a slight advantage in smoothness of blending as well as angulation at the stifle.

I commend 5th place animal for those nice straight forelegs.
