Comments:

This is my class of senior yearlings one is placing over 2 for Dairy Character being sharper and more upstanding. She also is freer from coarseness showing less fleshing today. She excels in a softer and more lustrous hair coat as well as having a more correct slope to the rump. She will grant a more correctly angulated hock when viewed from the side to the doe standing behind her.

And it is for that more correct leg set and greater angulation to the rear legs when viewed from the side that 2 is over 3. She is stronger in her General Appearance for a straighter stronger topline in both the chine and loin. She is also more developed in the brisket showing more muscling. In Dairy Character she is a more open doe and shows greater angularity throughout. She will grant a greater length of body to the doe standing in third today.

Three over Four a closer placing here in General Appearance standing on stronger pasterns and having a more correct slope to the rump. In Dairy Character she excels leaner/longer neck and appears to be more open. She will grant more breed character about the head to the doe standing in forth today having a more balanced in length, width and depth.

Four over five in General Appearance standing on straighter forelegs and stronger pasterns. Also, a greater length of body. In Body Capacity she excels in being deeper thru the barrel and chest. Also, more breed character about the head in correct placement of ears and length of ear.

The doe standing in 5th place today should be commended for her spring of rib.

Comments:

1 over 2 for her advantage in general appearance. She is more level over the topline, especially in the rump, than the doe in 2.

2 over 3 for her depth in the heart and more extension of brisket. She will grant levelness of rump to the doe in 3.

It is that levelness of topline and rump that carries her over the doe in 4.

4 over 5 in  another close pair here for the straightness of the foreleg. She is cleaner about the knees, higher and more open in the escutcheon.

The 5th place doe should be commended for her smoothness of blending from neck into withers.
