Comments:

This is my class of yearling bucks placing them 1 over 2 today in Dairy Character showing greater angularity throughout and having a longer/leaner neck. In Body Capacity he excels in depth of barrel. His General Appearance of increasing depth of barrel and strength of legs puts him ahead of the second placed buck. He is straighter in the forelegs and shows more squarely placed forelegs while viewed from the side, as well as standing on a shorter and stronger toe.
 
In his turn 2 over 3 excels in General Appearance with greater length of body and more correct slope to the rump. In Dairy Character he is sharper from hip to pins. He will grant more muscling in of the brisket when viewed from the side to the 3rd placed buck today.

Comments:

1 over 2 in a close placing, for general appearance, he is more level over the topline, especially hips to pins. He is also deeper in the heart than the buck in 2.

2 over 3 also in general appearance, being straighter in the foreleg and in his turn, more level over the topline.

I admire the extension of brisket and fullness of crops of the 3rd place buck and commend him for that.
