Comments:

This is my class of Jr. Doelings with 1 placing over 2 for her advantage in Dairy Character. She exhibits more general openness. She is freer from coarseness and is showing a longer leaner neck. In General Appearance she has a stronger and straighter back, especially in the area of the loin. Her stature is desirable being higher at the withers than at the hips. Also, she shows greater width between the hind legs than the doe standing second to her today.

In her turn, 2 is standing over 3 for her General Appearance, showing a longer bone pattern throughout as well as, being taller at the withers than at the hips. She shows a more desirable rear leg set when compared with the number 3 animal standing behind her, being more perpendicular from hock to pastern. She is stronger in Dairy character by showing greater angularity throughout and being longer and leaner in the area of the neck.

Today 3 is over 4 for her advantage in legs and feet. She picks up more General Appearance points being wider in the area of the escutcheon. She is standing on straighter forelegs and has a more desirable rear leg set when viewed from the side , as well as the rear, being more perpendicular from hock to pastern. The number 3 doe shows more breed characteristics about the head, with a more correct set to the ears and greater length of ear. She does however, grant
greater width in the chest floor to the doe standing in fourth place today.

In her turn 4 over 5 excels in General Appearance having a longer bone pattern throughout and showing more breed characteristics about the head having more curvature of the nose, more correct set to the ears and longer ears. She also shows more moderate strength in the brisket. She does grant to the doe standing behind her in 4th place a more uphill appearance.

And it is for that more uphill appearance that 5 is over 6. This doe is also stronger and straighter in the back, especially in the area of the loin. She excels in Body Capacity being deeper in the chest and deeper in the barrel. She also is superior in Dairy Character showing greater angularity throughout. She does grant a more breed character about the head in set to the ears as well as length of ears and she is to be commended for that correctness of the ears.

Comments:

I feel the first place kid is the total package. She excels the kid in 2 in General Appearance, being longer bodied and more smoothly blended.

2 over 3 for her higher, wider escutcheon, greater length of body and more angulation.

3 over 4 in a very close placing, is more correct in the foreleg and shows more angulation of the rear legs.

4 over 5 in her turn, for more dairy character, having a more incurving thigh and overall more femininity.

I'll commend the 6th place doe for her spring of rib.
