Comments:

This is my class of intermediate doelings. One is placing over two today for her Dairy Character showing greater angularity throughout and more general openness. She is sharper from hip to pins. In Body Capacity she excels being fuller at the point of elbow and being wider in the chest floor. She does grant greater length of body to the doe standing in 2nd place.

In her turn the number 2 doe is over 3 in General Appearance being higher at withers than the hips. She excels in that front end assembly blending more smoothly from the neck into the withers. In Dairy Character she shows a more desirable wedge shape to the withers with the dorsal process more correctly prominent above the shoulder blades, than the number 3 doe.

Three over four in Body Capacity being deeper in the barrel as well as greater spring of fore rib. In Dairy Character she excels in stronger yet more refined one structure and is freer from coarseness. She picks up General Appearance points showing more breed character about the head in set to the ears and length of ears.

In her turn 4 over 5 for in General Appearance being longer and more level especially in the area of the loin. She is also standing on straighter forelegs. She will grant a softer and more lustrous coat.

Five is placing over six for greater length of body, and standing on straighter forelegs adds to her General Appearance. she also has a more desirable rear leg set being more angulated thru the hock when viewed from the side as well as the rear. She will grant to the doe standing behind her more breed characteristics about the head showing a more correct ear set and length to the ear.

In her turn 6 over 7 in General Appearance she excels in a stronger and straighter topline, especially in the area of the loin. Also, in Body Capacity she is deeper in the hearth girth and has greater spring of rib.

I would like to commend the doe in 7th place today for her breed character about the head showing balance in length width and depth with a correct set to the ears.

Comments:

The top 3 kids are really close placings and I would really love to be able to see them on the move<G> That said, 1 over 2 for being a bit deeper and wider. She also blends more smoothly from neck into the withers.

2 over 3 for her width in the chest floor and depth in the heart.

3 over 4 for her dairy character, being flatter boned and having a wider more open escutcheon.

4 over 5 for her length of body and angulation of rear legs.

5 over 6 in a close placing, for more levelness over the topline, slight advantage in extension of brisket, but will grant a more correct rear leg set to the doe in 6.

6 over 7 for that advantage in rear leg set as well as a higher, more open escutcheon, cleaner, leaner thigh and more angulation of rear legs.

I commend the 7 place doe for her length of body.
