MDGA Membership
Membership in MDGA entitles each
member to have input into any area of
concern to MDGA. Each registered herd
who has paid for a herd name
registration and whose owner is also a
current member, will be placed on the
Breeder's List. Any membership paid by
March 1st of the current year will be
included in the MDGA information packet
as well as on the MDGA website.
As a MDGA member, you will:
- Have reduced rates to register and/or
transfer your goats.
- Get four newsletters per year
- Have the ability to earn CH legs on your
animal toward their FCH championship
title
- Be able to participate in milk
testing either under DHIA official
USDA testing program or with the
"in-house" program that keeps all
records within MDGA. Either
program will allow does to earn
their *P title
- Be a part of a friendly group of
members on the MDGA_info chat list
- Have fun participating in the online
Virtual Show to earn a *V title for
your goat
Fill out the
Membership Application form
(includes herdname and tattoo application) to become the newest member of MDGA
or to renew your membership. You may pay via paypal after
submitting your application over the internet.
Membership runs from January 1st through December 31st.
To be included on the members directory on
the website, you must have your dues in by March 1st.
